Generally a single award will be made, but the number of awards is dependent on the availability of funding and quality of candidates. Awards will always be valued at $1,500.

$1500 awards given annually to the top senior applicant with plans to graduate in the coming academic year and attend medical school the following fall. Must have 60 credit hours completed, and must be on track to graduate within four semesters (not including summer semesters). The student must have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. Students on track to graduate by the end of the current academic year (generally seniors). All students must submit a resume of their experience in the health-care field that provides significant exposure to practicing physicians (i.e. shadowing, internships, employment, etc.). Students must also submit a resume of their other extracurricular activities. Preference will be given to students that submit a letter of recommendation from their MSU faculty advisor. Ultimately, all students will be evaluated based on academic record, health-care experience, and service and involvement. Leadership will also be required.

Awarded annually to a junior or senior seeking an undergraduate degree in the College of Health and Human Services. Award made with regard to financial need. Scholarship automatically renewed for one additional year as long as the student maintains a cumulative GPA of 2.5 and is enrolled in full-time.
This scholarship is renewed automatically. Automatically renewed and can be received for a total of 2 years by an individual student as long as that student maintains a 2.5 GPA and is enrolled full-time.

The Recipients of this award will be graduate students properly enrolled at Missouri State University with a major in Occupational Therapy and a GPA of at least 2.75. Preference will be given to students with financial need.
The student will hold the scholarship for one academic year.

The Recipient of this award will be a current student properly enrolled at Missouri State University in the Department of Public Health and Sports Medicine. Preference will be given to a student who has demonstrated a high level of achievement based upon leadership, volunteer activities, service, professional development, and great potential within athletic training. Preference should be given to a student demonstrating financial need.

The Silva Scholarship was established in 2019 by John Silva, an MSU School of Anesthesia alumnus, and is presented annually to a MSU School of Anesthesia student.

The Dr. Wade Shipman Scholarship fund was established in 2015 and is distributed by a scholarship board/advisory council including the Shipman family, MSU Anesthesia representatives, and Mercy Anesthesia representatives in conjunction with Mercy Foundation.

The recipient of this award shall be: a non-traditional student properly enrolled in Missouri State's School of Anesthesia, Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice program, also known as DNAP. A non-traditional student being defined as a working, married, parent or 22+ years of age. Student must provide a one-page essay of how this award will be beneficial during their second semester of this program.
