STUDENT RESEARCH SYMPOSIUM
The 28th Annual MCHHS Student Research Symposium will be held from 3:00 to 5:00pm on Friday, April 26th, in the Plaster Student Union Grand Ballroom. This symposium is open to all graduate and undergraduate students enrolled in programs within the McQueary College of Health and Human Services. The purpose of this symposium is to allow students to present scholarly projects they have been conducting during the past year.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Students may begin submitting abstracts on February 12th through the Qualtrics link here. The deadline for submitting abstracts is March 18th by 11:59 pm. Once the abstract has been submitted, the faculty research mentor listed by the student will be notified and asked to review the submission. First authors will be notified of abstract acceptance via email no later than April 3rd. Please note that there is a 1,250-character limit and special characters such as italics, bolding, and Greek symbols cannot be maintained by our submission system.
GUIDELINES FOR POSTERS
Posters must fit within a 4' x 6' space on a poster board. The standard and recommended poster size is 56” x 42.” Templates and a tutorial on how to create academic posters may be found on the MCHHS RStats page found here. Additional information on MCHHS poster production can be found here.
POSTER PRINTING
To have your poster printed, complete the MCHHS Poster Printing Request Form here through Dynamic Forms. Please be sure to submit your poster for printing in a timely manner. Posters submitted after April 17th at 5:00 pm (CST) are not guaranteed to be printed by the MCHHS Technology Office. You will be notified by email when the poster is ready to be picked up from the Technology Office (KMPT 440).
