Expanding Your Horizons
Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) helps girls in grades 6-8 explore careers in science and health.
The McQueary College of Health and Human Services (MCHHS) hosts this annual event.
About the event
National statistics show a great need for better understanding of the STEM areas (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
We believe that starts at a young age. One way we participate in fostering STEM success is through events like Expanding Your Horizons (EYH).
Girls in grades 6-8 are invited to participate in Expanding Your Horizons to encourage interest in STEM through hands-on experiments.
EYH programs are held in more than 30 states as well as Europe and Asia. The program was introduced on the Missouri State University campus in 1994.
